45 Percent, Yeah I know what it was. Started at like 50th and Arch. Guy crashed at 40th and Locust, hopped on the car, ran onto the walk, and started shooting at the police who were chasing him.

^ architecture-wise or social-wise?

I would be surprised if there wasn’t a gap in the social scene between the schools

Architecture-wise, she said her dad thought it was in a dangerous part of Philly so I was addressing that particular concern :)

I agree, socially they would be very different.

@daretorun, according to her it’s a completely different world, even though they’re right next to each other. initially he was pretty against anywhere in philly, including penn, but i convinced him otherwise because of their stellar academics and opportunities :-)

Lol, thank you for covering that guys. Yes, Drexel and Penn touch! Literally. Drexel students even have access to using all of Penn’s libraries. Drexel is a wonderful school, and I would love to go there, but I feel as though I would be taking advantage of Drexel by attending for only two semesters to only transfer to the one I really love. I don’t want to set myself up for disaster by jinxing myself as a result of this talk of transferring, but I also don’t want to be too confident and be knocked down from my fantasy with a thud. College Confidential doesn’t help my case either. What I keep telling myself is “What’s done is done,” there is nothing I can do now. As scary as this sounds, most of our ED applications have already been reviewed and most of us already have a decision in our file. All that must happen now is the spinning of the Earth’s axis 9 times until we find out.
The only thing that keeps me going is thinking how decent my resum

I agree with Avenlea. Trust me, it won’t be the end of the world if we don’t all get accepted to Penn. Statistically speaking, the chances of that are close to 0. I truly believe you will all end up wherever you were meant to. It just might take you a while to realize it.

for those of you asking I got that info from my interviewer and later confirmed it with the penn help desk :)

the wait is killing me

^yeaa my level of anxiety cannot be healthy

See the “when when when” thread.

They just posted guys, I guess it’s a week from tomorrow! How exciting?! Good luck to all!

“We will be posting decisions for Early Decision applicants online on Friday, December 10th, 2010 at 3 p.m. E.S.T. When you log in to your MyPenn Applicant Portal you will be automatically taken to the Decision site (http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions/). The Decision site uses the same UserName and Password as the MyPenn Applicant Portal. The Undergraduate Admissions Office has closed the Early Decision cycle, therefore Early Decision applicants are no longer able to review the status of their application materials.”

From my Penn Portal
