<p>Students are selected at random by Penn's Secondary Schools Committee. If you are selected you will be contacted via phone or email.</p>
<p>My S, who's applying ED, was contacted the other night by a local alumni interviewer. Don't know if he's conducting RD interviews now.</p>

<p>You can call admissions and talk to the SSC person but I don't know if that will get you an interview, as it depends on how large/active/available the members of the SSC in your area are.</p>
<p>i got an e-mail yesterday and i scheduled my interview (ED), it's this friday. my interviewer said it would be pretty informal, but i'm still anxious.</p>
