Anyone applying to Penn M and T RD this year is encouraged to post. Also, if you have received a likely letter, it would be nice if you would post that.
I applied to M&T in RD. I think that likely letters are sent out after mid-Feb, so I’m not sure that anyone has got them yet
@anotherdude I hope that we both receive them! Do you know how many students were admitted to M and T during the Early Decision round?
I do not, but two of my friends were deferred
One of them being me ^^ 
I guess that makes me an RD M&T Applicant now

@ShaunakK98 @anotherdude What do you think would be your majors if you were accepted into M & T? I’m looking at ChemE and Finance.
I’m looking at CS and Finance along with a minor in statistics. Not sure though hahaha.
@aBitOfLuck I’m pretty sure, CS and Management (Entrepreneurship Specialization)
Those sound far more synergistic than my intended majors lol
had my interview today. It went really well and my interviewer said that I would be a great fit at M&T. He was a hedge fund analyst turned algorithmic trader who graduated from M&T roughly a decade back
That sounds a lot like my interviewer.

@baller55 Welcome to the party! I have heard that likely letters are being sent out, and I believe they should be in the mail or received soon, but I am not sure.
@aBitOfLuck Where did you hear that they got sent out? Can we agree that if any of us get a letter we share the goo news with the group? No expectations here, but I would rather know either way instead of guessing.
@CollegeGuru2020 I think that’s a decent plan. I heard all this in the regular Penn thread.
@aBitOfLuck Out of the 50 spots, 25 about were taken from ED. That leaves another 25. Something tells me that with such a small number of open seats, they may not send likelies to M&T applicants at all. I may be entirely wrong but it’s just a thought.
@CollegeGuru2020 That’s possible, but it would be very easy to send just 25. Who knows?
