***PENN REGULAR DECISION DISCUSSION CLASS OF 2019***

So I’m guessing that the Dual-Degree likely letters will be coming out some time soon?! So nervous…

Any nursing applicants receive their decision yet? I was told we got them early (like end Feb/early March)?

I haven’t yet. I’m thinking about emailing and asking admissions because i’ve been in contact with them a few times

Waiting is seriously the most stressing part in the application process
I know that it’s not always about the SAT scores guys but just to have a brief idea about the level of the pool of applicants can you share some stats please?

SAT 1 scores (first sitting): 770 M, 650 CR, 560 W (1980 total)
SAT 2 scores (first sitting): 700 M2, 750 Chem

Awful performance in the writing section I know… :frowning:

Good luck to all those waiting and congratulations to those who have been accepted ed.

Hope to hear from you guys.

Hearing from ppl applying to CAS would be best

When is ivy day?

^^March 31st

Chance decisions will come out sooner? @Bored1997‌

Close to none^^

I find it kind of weird that they all of a sudden aren’t releasing decisions on the last Thursday of March. I’m hoping that will end up being the date instead.

Soo, anyone got anything yet? :stuck_out_tongue:

They won’t announce earlier – no chance. The Ivy + MIT all agree to announce on the same day. This year it happens to be Mar 31st. It’s informally known as “Ivy Day”

MIT this year is pi day( 14 march) @T26E4

Oh! My bad.

MIT does not announce on the same day. This year, like last, they will announce on 3/14 (π day).

How about Caltech?

Hey y’all! I applied to LSM / CAS. Pretty much banking on that “fit” status for the dual-degree program, but let’s see how it works out.

March 31st just seems too far away! Ivy Day always invokes this collective tension at my school :stuck_out_tongue: and it certainly doesn’t help that Stanford (which I’m hoping will work out too) is released the day after.

The website says the 31st, but last year results came out on the 27th, and I’ve heard that Ivy Day is usually the last Thursday of March.
(For the past two years at least - those are the only years I checked - it has been)
They might have just listed the 31st as a definite end time.

@swimmerman‌ likely letters were sent out today! They sent out some mid feb and the rest was today  I recieved one for huntsman which is a total surprise because I almost didn’t choose huntsman because I didn’t know how strongly I wanted a business plus my sat 2… But I got it  I chose korean as my language and my huntsman essay got me into gtown EA so I guess It was good

Well, Yale has officially announced that decisions are being released on the 31st—as did Brown and Harvard. Princeton has March 27th listed on their website, and the other schools’ decision notification dates are a little harder to find on the internet.
