Long story short, I applied for PSU Altoona the day it became available. I was told by the assistant head of admissions (I believe that was who) that I shouldn’t have a problem getting in and I should receive a decision by late October or Early November, but I still have not received a decision yet. I was also told through email that I should expect a decision within 4 weeks back in early November from admissions in response to another question. I noticed that my FAFSA information which I had sent in October has also never been updated. Everybody has been telling me Altoona releases their decisions earlier than UP; is there a possibility I was somehow skipped over or my file was lost?
I would call admissions. Altoona usually gets decisions out pretty fast. If you applied in early September, I would think you would have heard by now. Call and make sure they have everything they need.
