can't you do business at Penn State? Their business program is very good - I've heard economics is weaker. Temple or SUNY Albany are both OK ( I have a minor in business from SUNY Albany and have done just fine). Atmosphere at the three schools is very different.
Penn State: Football, Party, lots of school spirit, fun in "happy valley", huge campus but very pretty in spots (the elms are gorgeous), COLD and snowy, friendly feel.
Temple is still known as a commuter school around here - although they have quality programs.
SUNY Albany - Party school, gray, ugly (IMO) campus, cold, very little school spirit, split campus makes thinks difficult (uptown/dowtown). My teachers were remote and my classes were huge. But I still had a good time and learned enough to be successful.
Good luck!

toneranger, you can't externally transfer into smeal (penn state's business school).

if you're considering penn state university park, i would probably go there.

my uncle actually went to temple for undergrad and then on to wharton for his MBA. so everything is what you make of it.

just go wherever you see a best fit and the school that tailors to your wants/needs the most. those 3 schools aren't significantly better than the others, except for a slight edge for psu.

yaeh but what im not sure about, is how ill find a job with and eco degree from penn state related to accting since theres a high demand. I just wanna do buisness, prob consulting/banking

you can transfer into smeal externally. The exception is that you only have a year to do so. A year or more schooling will void any chance afterwards.

I know a guy who went to Penn State and in the end got an MBA from Harvard, so its not abd school.
