I know the honors college doesn't look at SATs so I was wondering if I have a chance if I write really solid essays?

I'm a white upper-middle class female from PA

It’s a pretty competitive program, but since your own brother was selected, you should know better than most people who will post here! From what I understand, the recommendations, your essays, and grades are the core of what they consider. Are you a “global citizen”? Do you have outstanding recommendations for your character? The essays are where you will distinguish yourself. What do you think got your brother in?
