Penn State v. U of Florida

My final college decision will most likely come down to these two schools.
I applied for Marketing under the business schools at both universities and I would be paying OOS for both schools.

Any opinions would help!!!

Penn State: I loved that campus, and it’s only 2-3 hours away from home so I would be able to see my family on a semi-regular basis. I have friends that go here so I won’t be completely isolated from people I know. More expensive than UF.

UF: (visiting in a few days) Great weather, higher ranked business school, but it’s really far. It’s also cheaper than Penn State.

Make sure to account for the required summer session at UF when considering costs and summer job possibilities.

Two very comparable schools, you can’t go wrong at either school. After visiting UF, pick the one that YOU think is the best fit. Nothing wrong with being 2 to 3 hours from home! Also, nothing wrong with running around in January and February wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
