I'm an asian dude planning on to major in engineering and got accepted into
UIC, Iowa State, VTech, U of Minnesota, and Penn State.
But tricky enough because of my iffy gpa all of those schools
except UIC and Iowa, put me into different programs....

J of Minnesota
-they put me into liberal arts and told me I'm on the waiting list for engineering

Penn State
-got into college of engineering but they put me into the Altoona campus
where I think they don't even have engineering degrees.. possibly
gonna have to transfer to main campus in 2 yrs.... idk if it's possible in 1yr...

VTech
-they put me into university studies program.. where I have to complete
certain classes with 2.0 gpa (not bad..) but there's this one engineering class
that I can't take the first semester and have to wait.. heard that seat availability
is based on gpa from 1st semester..

Iowa State
-$5,500 scholarship and got into enginering

UIC
-got into engineering..
-I'm a resident of IL

I got only a few weeks to decide.. and I can't afford to make visits..
I heard VT is relatively easy to get into engineering once you're accepted
and has nice dorm rooms and FOOD :] ...
I'm leaning towards VT.. and also since I got asian parents and a brother who are not
particularly in good financial shape.. so they are really sensitive of
job prospects from each school....
(oh yeah so also I am looking up for any scholarships as well.. advices??)
I need some recommendations or any helpful advices anything.. please
help a brother out idk if it's just me but I'm excited and a bit nervous
that this might be one of my choices of life...
