<p>I thought this option might be worth exploration by some students. The Lancaster General Hospital is a very large hospital system with two campuses in Lancaster PA. For decades they operated a quality 3 year nursing school. It has been reconstituted as the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences to offer a BSN degree, with a modern new building. At least as of a couple years ago, they offered some of their courses in cooperation with the nearby Millersville University, a public university. </p>
<p>For some students, it may offer the best of all options - tons of clinical hours nearby, at an affordable price, while still being able to obtain a bachelors degree.</p>
<p>The hospital is surrounded by a very pleasant historic neighborhood and Lancaster is a vibrant and attractive city about 1.5 hours from Philadelphia.</p>
