I also took classes at pomona college, in chemistry and math, and got A's in it.
pomona college is basically the ivy league of liberal arts schools, so its not like taking a class at a cc.

the thing is, lots of ppl have great stuff…here’s what an admissions officer said at an info session: about 25,000 or so apply to Yale…of those, about 10,000 could all do well at Yale…however, they can only accept about 2,000. there are about 50 who definately will get in (discovered a cure for cancer, etc.) so, those 8,000 who are rejected are still great, and they will get into another ivy league or basic equivalent (stanford, etc.). so there you go. idk if its too late and you already applied, but if u haven’t, the essays are “the most important part of your senior year”.

Why do you think that students, who themselves can only speculate on their own attributes which got them in, can be reliable sources of “chancing” you? You seem to be a viable candidate. That’s all one can say.

It’s OK; I was nervous too when I was applying. This isn’t really the place to post this, though; it’s kind of spammy…You would get more responses in the chances forum. We really don’t know a whole lot more than anyone else.
