Bumppity. Taking SAT’s this weekend, hopefully good SAT II’s scores. ACT in two weeks, looking for a 30 and taking SAT I’s again looking at a 2000…

improve your sat scores drastically
i’d say reach at all…match at ucsb and uci slight reach at davis
you need to emphasize your teaching goals and desires…if you do that you could get in at some of your reaches

You’ll also need to calculate a UC gpa, weight only 8 semesters from 10-11th grade.

Lets say your UC GPA was 4.0, you’d be a
UCB - REACH
UCLA - reach
UCSD - reach
UCSB - slight reach
UCI - slight reach
UCD - slight reach
UCSC - match
USC - reach
Columbia - big reach
Cornell - big reach
NYU - reach

Why only UC’s? How about a few Cal States ( maybe Chico, Humboldt?), University of Santa Clara, Occidental. Still won’t be “matches” with the current stats, but don’t rule them out!

Mmm agreed. 1790 is at the 80th percentile. I’m confident I can score higher in the Math section. most likely around a 700-750. Reading I can probably gey 650-670. Writing…SHOULD DIE. Therefore I’m going to take ACT where they take science in consideration. Probably score a 29.

Sounds good. And so does the 1790. Good luck!
