Perfect SAT score... but not much else...? Will chance back!

False modesty is annoying. But yeah you have great chances at all these schools

you are competitive for all of the schools. Just rock the essay and interview. I was wondering what u did to get your sat score from a 2300 to 2400. I am in a similar situation so i was wondering what strategies u used.

My DD has similar boards (235 on PSATs). What did you do to get 2400?

The only reason the Ivies would be reaches is because they’re just unpredictable, but your’e just as qualified as most of the students who attend those schools. So don’t worry, you have solid chances and will very likely get into any of them if you apply ED. But work on polishing your EC’s. Not much else to say. The UC’s are matches by the way.

Chance Back? For only one school

Did you end up getting in to UChicago?

i’m sorta in the same boat as you. I have decent EC’s and a perfect score on the SAT also, but not much EC’s. I applied to wharton at upenn ED and was rejected, so now i’m doubting how much weight they actually put behind perfect scores. I’d say that you’re in at UCSD, UCLA, UCI. Then Berkeley, Uchicago, johns hopkins, duke, and washu are probs low reaches. the ivies are probably solid reaches, especially if what you say about all the rejects are true.
