Performance Opportunities at the University of Northern Colorado:
UNC theatre students showcase their talents on the stages of the 600-seat Langworthy theatre, the 1700-seat Union Colony Civic Center, and the intimate 100-seat Norton Theatre. Throughout the year performances include 20 one-acts, five musicals, three operas, three dance productions and eight plays (I believe some of these are student run productions).

The Little Theatre of the Rockies Summer Company has been cited as a national model for educational stock theatre. Nationally known guest artists join UNC students for this intense professional-level eight-week program. Student performers and technicians receive both academic credit and a stipend for working with this equity-eligible program. The summer season includes both a large and a small scale musical production.
My D has been fortunate enough to be cast in one of the musicals - so I will have more information as to work conditions, pay, general experiences after the summer. As I reported in another thread - she will be living in the house that she is renting with some of her classmates for next year so no worries about the housing.

Summer Productions for this year are found at:

Additionally there are a lot of opportunities to audition for paid summer work in and around the Greeley area. A lot of my D’s friends are auditioning for Godspell and Legally Blonde.
