<p>Does anyone know anything about the theatre program at the University of Northern Colorado?</p>
<p>I know a talented young performer who went there but got a professional offer before graduation and is now based in New York. I don’t know anything else about it.</p>

<p>My d attends the musical theater program and loves it. I do know from talking to her there are alot of audition opportunites for both coasts.</p>
<p>Thanks for your info. My D and I went up there, we are in TX, last Thursday and were very impressed with the program. We were able to spend the day sitting in on classes and talking with both teachers and students. The students get alot of personal attention from the instructors, who are very gifted teachers, and lots of opportunities to perform and audition. It seems to me to be a hidden jewel.</p>
<p>They did Hairspray performed at the international Thespian Festival last year and several of the performers now attend the college. You can pull it up on you tube and see the freshman class for 2008 and 2009, I think several students from the show are there now or will be attending next year. The show was amazing, but you can decide for yourself.</p>
