<p>I'm a permanent resident of the US, not a citizen. I can still receive scholarships and financial aid just like any citizen, correct? A few schools that I've already applied to have only asked for my Greencard to confirm.</p>
<p>If you are a permanent resident, you are classified the same as citizens for almost all financial aid purposes. You are eligible for all of the federally determined aid. There are a few odd-ball scholarships out there that are only for citizens, but there really aren't enough to make a difference.</p>
