Personalized essays: good or bad idea?

I plan to write a different essay for each elite school that I'm applying to because I think I can do a better job of presenting myself to each school based on its ideal criteria(since they're all different). I tend to write about very obscure and original essays, but I don't think it's possible for me to write a single general essay because my topics tend to involve things related to a particular school (if that makes any sense) which is why I think I should do it even though it's a lot of work.

But....is it a bad idea to write several essays? I know it's more work and one of them will obviously be better than others, but I think it's the only way I can stand out. What do you think?

Good idea. We worked with a top essay consultant who counseled to do just that.

sure, that’s a good idea. sounds like too much work for me, personally, but if u can do it, go for it :P

If you can handle the work, of course you should do it for your top choice schools
