What are your guys' biggest pet peeves? I was really bored and made a list of everything that drives me crazy. It was ridiculously long (5 pages) and I was just wondering if I'm the only person that crazy. So what are your guys' BIGGEST pet peeves. I would say the top most annoying things ever...ANYTHING slow (slow walkers, talkers, drivers...thinkers...slowness in general...I'm really impatient), loud chewers, posers, and really dumb people (not really book dumb...just idiots...tough to explain I just hate when people are really stupid.) Okay I'm done. Well not really I could go on for hours but I won't subject you all too that because I hate when people rant for really long periods of time.

My biggest pet peeve is slow wakers. It's really irritating especially in school when you're trying to get from one side of the building to the other and all the sophomores clog up one part of the hallway because they have to have conversations because they haven't seen each other in a millenium (aka 30 minutes) and therefore they have to walk slowly. phew that was one long sentence. lol. Slowness annoys me. Slow teachers annoy me too (ie. spending 20 minutes explaining SOH CAH TOA).

I compleeeetely agree. I'm really impatient and anything slow ****es me off like no other.

Heh, people arguing with you for no apparent reasons. If you don't believe what they believed in, they will yell the crap out of you which I find it kind of funny but still that's kind of annoying.

When people shut off their car and their wiper blades are stopped half way... when people say "like" a lot... when you can tell what people's flaws are and they just stick out everytime you talk to them...

I also hate when people have no real opinions of their own, and just agree with everybody. For example...I just had this conversation: friend: I hate U2. They are so annoying and bad.
me: I actually really like U2. They are good people and good musicians. I was raised on them (we are Irish :-) )!
friend: Yeah actually, they are good.

grr if you hate them, don't change just because somebody else likes them. I know this is a small example, but you get the idea. I hate when people can't just form their own opinions and stick to it. But I also hate when people are really close minded and are never open to others' opinions. There is a happy balance, people!

Lol, I'm from Dublin and I'm not a U2 fan at all! :p

I hate people who aren't punctual. Nothing annoys me more than waiting 20 minutes for someone, and then they don't even bother apologising for being late.

I also hate when people talk down to or look down upon me because I am a teenager. Where I live, that is one of the most obvious forms of discrimination (reverse age discrimination). Every time my friends and I get on a bus, we can actually see and hear all the adults and seniors get mad that we are on the same bus as them. We are not obnoxious people, but people assume that because we are teenagers, we can't be a good thing. Same goes when we walk into a store full of people, and the security guards or sales people follow or keep a close watch on us because they assume we will steal because we are teenagers. They are completely off base, and it drives me crazy. We aren't bad kids and we don't even look like it!

On the punctual note, one time, I was taking my friend to a concert, as a birthday gift. She had track practice until 3:15, so I agreed to wait until 3:20 for her, and had my mom come to pick us up at 3:25. Well my mom and I are always early for everything, so my mom got there at 3:15, and we waited. At 3:30, she still hadn't come out, and hadn't answered any of my 10 messages. I went a check the gym, track, weight rooms, and locker rooms. She was no where to be found. I called her several more times and at 3:45, my mom said she had five more minutes before she left. Five minutes later, I went to look for her one more time before we left. She was working out in the weight room, and walked really realllllllly slowly to the locker room to get her stuff. Then she barely even apologized for being dumb. So she was late, rude, slow, and dumb! That's wayyy too many of my pet peeves rolled into one sucky friend.

When I saw the title "Pet Peeves", I immediately thought of the slow walkers, too! It is so annoying when a group of people spreads out across the width of the sidewalk or hall and walks slowly and seems completely unaware of others who may be trying to get somewhere.

People who say "like" all the time are another good one.

People on messageboards who waste space and detract from the discussion by starting huge arguments due to the fact that they didn't bother to read what somebody said in the first place. Say it with me: FIRST you read, THEN you respond.

The road signs around here really bug me. I don't want to see a sign telling me, "Oh, by the way, that exit you just passed was (whatever I was looking for)." Can you let me know BEFORE I get to the exit?! Who is in charge of this?!

I hate when you can't read street or house signs because they are too small or the colours are hard to see and read. I also hate when there is a large group of people crossing a street: two people go, when they get to the middle, three more people go...when they get to the middle a few more people go, etc. Seriously, everybody go collectively, as a group! Its not that hard!!

slow walkers

slow drivers

slow understanding people (? does taht make sense?)

slow explaining teachers (people that explain stuff slowly)

Basically anything slow

oh and people that ask you to repeat something (questions, etc..) more than 2 timesgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

wow...im glad im not the only one who hates slow stuff...my friends hate me for hating slow stuff :-P
and as for slow understanding people, I AGREE 100%...i just HATE when people are slow and stupid...you have nooo idea how frustrated i get when people are like that

One time, I was in Target on a Saturday morning...well lets just say that THAT is hell...right there...if I was sent to hell write now, that is where I would end up...I burst into tears because everybody was so damn slow and I hated the world and just wanted everybody else to die. So I'm not kidding when I say I hate slow-ness...

When someone says "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!" when he or she "gets" something. :

And loud people.

for sure..good ones mint
when someone goes "aahhhh" after they take a drink of something or after they sit down

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

SO TRUE!!!!

When a white kid wears a G-UNIT, Vokal, Rocawear, or Southpole item of clothing.

completely agreed
when people buy pre-ripped jeans or shoes that are already drawn on because they think its "cool"
when people say "mmm" or "yumm" while they are eating

when people have no imagination or creativity and dress/wear/listen to/watch/think exactly what their peers dress/wear/listen to/watch/think because they think fitting in is the most important...more important than being yourself
