<p>Paco de Lucia: The APFT is the minimum fitness standard to stay in the army. At WP, the IOCT is the test that has functional components that are applicable to the rigors of the military. This months Pointer View has an good article on the IOCT on page 11.

<p>well, the apft is pushups, situps, and a 2mile run. do it for yourself and see where you fall. alot of guys can knock out 100 pushups but cant run. others can go sub 11 on the run but max around 60push ups.</p>
<p>293 ;) i just cant hit 1300 on the run :(</p>
