What grade are you applying for?
@CottenCandyTrill grade 11
11 is a tough grade to get in. There are very few spots. Would you consider repeating grade 10? If so that is something you can mention to your AO that you would take a spot for either grade.
While you are clearly a bright motivated student I think your chances are almost nil.
@Center Why?
@Center What makes you say that there is zero chance?
First, there are very very few spots for 11th grade. Second, there is very little FA for international students. Third, the applicant doesn’t really bring anything interesting to the table beyond the somewhat typical stuff. Lastly, the OP doesn’t say but applying to only one school is foolish. In fact I think the school would view that in a poor light as well.
Not to sound rude, but I agree with @Center . Admission into 11 grade is difficult for even the most hooked applicants, and this applicant is not hooked. To get into any GLADCHEMMS, even when you’re applying for 9th grade, you most likely need to have something semi-individualistic about you. Not that the OP isn’t individualistic, but their stats are not. And as stated, full FA is really difficult, and as an international applicant, almost impossible to get.
I would agree mostly with @“Nico.campbell” but the financial aid should not impact your chances. Exeter and Andover are both need blind so it doesn’t matter how much FA you need or if you are an international applicant. It will not harm your chances of being accepted.
Exeter is not need blind. They are need aware, but give about the same amount of aid as Andover.
