<p>CMU Call count is 7 boys and 2 girls for MT…I may be off…trying to keep up with that Twitter page but I think it’s wrong.</p>

<p>@Mtmom1203 Gary told one of the MT accepted students that they are taking 7 boys, 5 girls. </p>
<p>It’s hard to know exactly how many have been called, but it <em>appears</em> that 7 boys and 3 girls have been called for MT so far, but I do not know this for sure as news of one of the girls came second-hand.</p>
<p>As for Acting (which all MTs are considered for as well), I don’t know if all the calls have been made. D only knows of 3 girls, 2 boys who were called for Acting (that includes her) but there could be more that she hasn’t heard about yet. </p>
<p>I read that they take 16 acting each year. Does that include MT? Like put if 8 boys selected the will be a composition of both MT and acting or are they separate? </p>
<p>Also, do they usually make all calls on the same day? It it possible to get a call after the letters have been sent? </p>
<p>To anyone familiar with the calling process: Are all the calls for acting made before the calls for musical theatre are made? </p>
<p>@Prospective943 and @CurtainsUp789 They take approximately 16 acting plus around 12 MT – they are separate.</p>
<p>The calls are made in no particular order. Gary makes the MT calls whenever he has time to make them. Barbara makes the Acting calls whenever she can fit them into her schedule. The process according to past years seems to take a few days. </p>
