<p>So, are your kids getting phone calls out of the blue from colleges not even on their lists? My son's gotten two phone calls from someone at Northwestern, most likely a minority student. It seems most likely linked to the National Hispanic Scholar but it just seems odd. Should my son call this person and let them know he's not interested?</p>
<p>He might want to call or email his regrets, some schools are very persistent and so it would likely save everyone’s time to tell them now.</p>
