So most people who don't have alumni living in their area are getting phone interviews.Mine is next tuesday and I know some people already had theirs. I saw that it was only 20 minutes long, so can people share their experience? Any specific questions? I would think that it would be a pretty standard interview.

I had one! It was great. The guy was super chill. It’s weird just talking on the phone but it was a typical interview. Don’t worry about it. I thought it was really fun! :)

indeed

mine went pretty well though

How do you guys manage to get an interview, whether in person or over the phone? I desperately want one and haven’t managed to get one. :(

A local ARC rep will call you if there’s one in your area.

i haven’t gotten one yet too…
darn it. i’m starting to get anxious

I had one a couple of days ago; it actually went pretty well! It’s much better to talk with current students than alumni since they have a more recent perspective of the school, and the guy I had was really cool. (same major and interests as me as well)

Yeah, I thought it would be bad, but it was probably one of the best interviews I had lol

I saw that is was only 20 minutes long. Did you guys talk about a lot in that time restraint

We were both talking extremely fast because we wanted to say so much. hahahah. We got through everything that he absolutely needed/wanted to know and we could’ve talked forever. The interview lasted 10 minutes longer than it should have (it was like 30 minutes) and then he was like OH NO i have to go! haha so it went really well. And I think he got a good picture of me in those 30 minutes! Talking to a current alumni is extremely helpful, really laidback, and tons of fun promise!
