Photos of Science Center "Sushi Bar"

CC poster, "Arador", has a series of photos of the new Science Center sushi/coffee bar commons space in the Daily Gazette today:

These gathering spaces have been designed as central points of focus in both of Swat's new academic buildings, each with glass walls overlooking the quads and walkways on both sides. They have both tables/chairs and comfy sofa groupings. In function, they serve as mini-Starbucks during the day for a coffee on the run or just running into people or logging onto the internet between classes. Or as shown here, they serve for small scale events such as a science research display or fireside chat with the President of the college.

These spaces are one of the things that really struck me positively about Swarthmore, turning academic buildings into more than just places to go to class.
