phys. Q?

I have 2 nom's and I know I am medically and scholastically Q'd, (I received letters for both) I was wondering will they also send a letter telling me I passed the CFA? Or how else will I know I am triple Q'd

If you haven't passed, they will tell you. They don't notify you that you have passed.

Call 'em and ask!!

do not call them to ask. If you must ask someone, call your BGO. But '85 is correct that they will contact you if you need to retake it- via your BGO.

You're getting different opinions, each of which may be valid. When in doubt, ask those who are employed solely for the purpose of addressing candidates, their needs, and potential for appointment to the USNA.

Call them. That's why they're there, and be assured they'll NOT be sitting there grumbling about hearing from the very person they're working to see if you're a qualified candidate. If they didn't want you to call them, they'd not give you the number. Put another way, if they wanted you NOT to call them, you'd not have it AND they'd tell you not to call.

BGO's are volunteers and a very mixed bag, some being outstanding and on top of things, some only think they are fully informed and may be to very varied degrees, others just doing interviews and consequent thumbs up or down recommendations. None are paid to address specifics like yours. If you've a solid relationship go there. Otherwise call your admissions officer.

Generally, I believe you'll only hear about your CFA results if you fail.

BGOs are NOT told if you pass or fail your CFA -- privacy reasons. If you're notified that you have failed, it will not be through your BGO. If you're worried or just curious, contact CGO; they will have the answer.

And you've just heard from one of those BGO's who is outstanding and on top of her game. Thanks for the clarification, correction of misinformation '85. No matter what "they" say, you're a-ok!

Bottomline: Call to confirm.
