Physics 160

Anyone heard anything about Physics 160? Was thinking about taking it next term instead of 140 for my engineering prereq.

Oh and if you know a good teacher for it, that's great too :)

Let me know!

P.S. I took AP Physics C and got two 4's, which was why I was considering it in the first place :-/

I took Physics 160. My professor, imo, was pretty brilliant. He was the former head of the Physics Department, and I really enjoyed his style.

Of course, there's only one session of this per semester, so you get who you get. The class is good - it's smaller and more personalized. There's real homework instead of the (imo) stupid web problem solving thing for 140/240. The exams are not as annoying. The class teaches a bit more material, especially towards the end, and sometimes in a little more depth, but otherwise the coverage is fairly even with 140. If there's something you'd like to know I can give you more details.

This would count for my engineering 140 prereq wouldn't it? The regular homework is a big plus in my book though...
