Physics Honors is extremely challenging at my school, even if you are good at Math. I have an 800 on the SAT Math, qualified for the AIME and Academic Superbowl Math State, and have a 98% in Honors Precalc. It’s not the math that kills you, it’s the concepts. Of course, if you’re bad at the math too, then you’re even more screwed.

However, our Honors Physics is the equivalent of AP Physics B and is given as a first year course to mostly sophomores…horrible idea if you ask me.

EDIT: Have you considered taking regular physics? At our school, it’s far easier than the Honors variant. I looked at the regular Physics tests and laughed. While we have to set up detailed diagrams for Force tension, all they have to do is know F=ma and know the units for each variable.
