physics requirement for Carnegie Mellon University??????

if anyone knws, i am applying to carnegie mellon and for the business school the requirement is 1 yr of physics, however i am not taking physics, so am I automatically disqualified from the college application process?

i am an highschool senior applyin as an undergrad

HElp me plz.
~thks to all

You need to ask Carnegie Mellon adcoms. Just e-mail them and include info about why you haven't taken physics, and what courses you have taken. They may offer admission contingent upon your taking physics over the summer.

I am also applying to Carnegie! To be on the safe side, you might want to find out if your school has a summer school program that offers Physics and take that over the summer. Be sure to talk email them and ask if it is okay first.

If they approve, I would suggest going to the JHU CTY program that offers Fast Paced HS Physics in 3 weeks. It will make your time more enjoyable rather then spend 6 weeks with people who have failed physics in your school.

and when i call the phone numbers it goes straight to answering machines
how do i contact Carnegie?

also ur saying i will have to take physics next summer after i graduate from highschool?
y read the above message regarding the main problem

Try calling the dean of the business school and asking him or her.
Yes, there's a chance that Carnegie Mellon may have a policy that, for example, accepts students like you with the provision that the students must take physics the summer before starting your freshman year at CMU. Perhaps you even could take it at CMU in their summer program for h.s. students.

hope ill get through
