physics sat

yepp took this in may...waiting for the scores still..and if i get below 750 i need to restudy and retake =P
so i need some opinions..

before taking this test, i studied the crap outta the ap physics b books and the princeton review
but when i sat down at the test i was like WHOA never seen some of this stuff ever ever ever! literally 95% were conceptual questions, 5% calculation..i was mad mad mad after the first freaking 30 questions had no math in it....

gahh
so besides princeton review, what good review book is out there that is closer to the actual stuff on the SAT physics??? i mean, i can thank princeton review for a good score on ap physics b, but not sure about sat physics, no way jose

danke

i took both physics b and the subject physics test, waiting for my scores on may too, i think the test wasn’t that bad, for the conceptual questions kaplan helped well since it simplified it for me but when it came to more material PR covered mostly everything, plus anything above a 720 is good in my opinion.

^thanks =]

Please update this and let me know what you get on the AP and SAT.
:P

ps. conceptual is pretty easy for mechanics, but for electricity/magnetism/waves/optics concepts are pretty hard.

will do, hopefully greater than 750 XD

I’m on the same boat - Phy B and SAT in may. Hopefully we all get 750+ and 5’s on the exam =]]]

yeaaaaaa, the multiple choice on both tests were kinda similar, too bad I had a crappy physics b teacher and Barron’s was my best friend for the SAT physics loll

i love conceptual physics. I just hate the equations. i haven’t studied for the june 6th yet. but will soon!
