Hey guys, If anyone could help It would be appreciated! I am a communication Media Arts major and, like alot of people, have to go an extra semester to finish up school. I figure that I might as well go the full year instead of just a semester and recieve a minor. My communications major is open to alot of electives so I have taken a few political science classes and liked them but never even thought about getting my degree in that as I want to go into the communications field. One of the classes I have taken is Conflict resolution, which I then went on to take its next class Global Conflict Resoluction. It sounds alot harder than it is. Anyway I have most of the classes for the Conflict Resolution minor and was wondering if that would do anything for me in the future? Should I even bother to get the minor or just finish up and get a job? Does anyone think an employer would consider me more because of the conflict resolution minor? please help me out!

I doubt this minor would impress many employers, but you could always go to the dept chair and ask if any employers have contacted him to specifically recruit students with that major/minor.

As for spending a extra year instead of a semester in school, I'd say why not? This may be the last time in your life you have the chance to take classes for the love of learning, to be in the college atmosphere, etc. And more employer's hiring cycles are geared to June grads. If it isn't a big financial burden I'd say stay; you get to work for the next 40+ years!
