Did anyone get a phone call from University of Richmond asking them to attend a program on February 18 and 19?

Yes I did. How many people were asked to attend? Did you receive a letter or a phone call?

What was the program? Was it for those already admitted EA?

I applied regular decision but I cannot speak for the rest of the people invited.

I received a phone call and a couple of e-mails about it. Does anyone know if they are attending? I'm not sure how many people are attending though. I applied early decision too. They told me it was a program about diversity and I wrote one of my essays on diversity so I'm guessing that's what they based it on

I attended the Picture Richmond program. I saw the invite as a likely acceptance at first. I figured they just couldn't tell us early because of regulations, but they told the Richmond Scholars Finalists that they are in. Now I have no idea what's going to happen. Richmond is my first choice so I hope I get in. They gave us a bumper sticker for our cars that I would be crushed to have to take off. I didn't apply early decision because at that time I didn't have a way to pay for it. I wish they would allow us to fill out some kind of binding decision agreement at this point that would let us agree to attend if we are accepted. It would lower their acceptance rate which would probably boost their US News rankings haha
