<p>so i submitted my app two days ago. how long does it take for me to confirmation from yale (NOT COMMONAPP) in the e-mail along with my pin number etc.?</p>

<p>My son submitted his Yale app online a week ago, and he still hasn't received a Pin number. I can only imagine how deluged they are with apps. He tried phoning yesterday, but never reached a human.</p>

<p>My daughter submitted online with the common app. She got an email in about a week, saying her PIN would arrive in the mail. It arrived yesterday, about 10 days after the email.</p>

<p>Yep I got that email too. Except that I live in Saudi and it will take forever to get the pin# in that case. shall I plead with them- if I can reach someone- to send it to through email.
I remember my brother last year got it through emai, but not from Yale though, it was Cornell. Oh I hope I can get to speak with someone. What if it gets lost????</p>

<p>Don't worry about the rec letters just yet. I got my eli account information in the mail today and the page says that they aren't processing rec letters until 11/15, so that information won't even be available for a couple weeks.</p>

<p>They did send me another email saying that they have recieved all my documentation. The school sent its' stuff by DHL and I submitted everything online, plus the scores made it directly from Collegeboard.</p>
