<p>Hey guys I just wanted to know how difficult it is to get into Pitt Premed? (I dont want any sarcastic or negative comments).
What are the requirements?
GPA?
Do they look at freshman year grades?
Anything like that would be helpful...</p>

<p>I desperately want to become a cardiologist and obviously I have to go to a good school with a decent program; I figured in terms of the premed program, pitt is by far one of the best schools out there. I just ended my freshman year in high school right now and I am extremely worried because I ended of the year with a 3.6 qpa... so I was wondering if I still even have a chance?</p>

<p>I already responded on your other post (which I believe was earlier today). Also because I did not mention your grades earlier. They are sort of on the low end for Pitt, though I know people with lower GPA’s who got in and higher that got rejected. That being said you should have solid EC’s and at least a 3.8 cumulative to be on the safe side. Also the information you seek is also on their website.</p>
