full tuition (but no Chancellors…so relatively generous)…I had a 1520 and enough ECs…I also got into Penn, Columbia, and Barnard so my ECs/awards were good.

Initially my son had full tuition award that came with his admission in October. Later his official FA letter included an additional loan of about 5k. But then last week he got the chancellors. He also has two smaller outside scholarships.

Of course, from my point of view the aid is great. Without the chancellors I would’ve thought it was good. Would have cost us about 10k OOS.

Have you gotten your FA offer?

I got full tuition in early November. Later accepted to Yale Stanford Duke Rice Pomona Haverford. Pitt is still in my final 3 choices-Yale Stanford and Pitt-because of the scholarship.

If you look through old threads, there is a lot of information about Pitt scholarships here and there. Besides, your daughter should have gotten her financial aid letter already.

My daughter was also offered full tuition and has accepted. She is a National Merit Scholar (with dollars) and was offered full tuition to several out-of-state universities and the University of Maryland (resident). She was treated very nicely by faculty members in two departments when she visited and it’s a bit closer to home than some of her other options.
