I have been accepted by pitt and lehigh. Major is EE.
I want to go to the college which would make me feel comfortable, However, I am a international student. Visiting the campus is impossible for me now. I just got two days left to decide which college.
And I don't want to go to grad school, instead, getting a job in US after finishing my undergraduate study, so in this way I wonder which one can be the best choice for me.

Lehigh is good at engineering. And employer would like to employ the grads from lehigh of cause. But for international student, the result can be the same?

One of my friend is in pitt. She said it is a wonderful school, and people there is very friendly. I love that. But I don't know how its engineering school is? Would it be helpful for my job?

Check their rankings for the program you would like to study in. That might help make your decision. Also, is money an issue? If so, I would go with Pitt.

Overall, I would choose Lehigh just because it has a good reputation.

The rankings between the two schools are (I think) very close, but the type of program they offer is a little different.

Lehigh, due to the small size of the program, has a strong set of fundamentals but little flexibility - they just do not have the faculty and resources to permit students to specialize in many areas, so most graduates share the exact same broad but shallow skill set. This is fine for those who want to go into the management or support areas of engineering, and most Lehigh engineering grads I know have done just that.

Pitt, being much larger, has a greater breadth of classes and so graduates can usually have the specializations that more in-depth engineering roles look for.

They are both good programs, but if your intent is do be an actual engineer without going to grad school, I would recommend Pitt.

Hi karennzzq. (You were born on the same say as my older son.) Just looked at some rankings and there doesn’t appear to be a significant difference. I see no reason why you won’t get a similar job coming from either school. IMO, the determining factor would be your comfort level. You have information that you give a level of comfort with Pitt that you don’t have with Lehigh.

Just wondering----------weren’t college decisions due to be made um… almost a month ago? Please tell me OP didn’t double deposit. That’s not fair to those on the waitlist. If that’s the case, it’s time to be a grown-up and make a decision!!
