Hey!
Just finished those tests.I totally bombed the english.Ugh...math and chem was pretty darn good :D
WHat about yours?

I got about 3/4 of english i think, half of math, and knew literally zero chem. (took it two years ago, did poorly, and i’m a business-communications kind of guy )

Think I did good on English and average on Math. No idea how Chem went; I was reviewing like crazy. I think I got at least 10/20 on it, though…

advising day may 26th!
I have my alevel then

Did all of you receive the post card before you took the tests. If you did how long did it take to receive the post card after you accepted your admission?

I took the tests on a Monday and received the postcard on Thursday. I have May 26 too.

I live in singaporee!

im thinking about applying to psu in the future. What are the placement test? Could someone explain to me what they are? Different then the ACT/SAT?

these tests, are those taken to assist you in picking classes, after being accepted :D

so if you dont do well they just put you in a lower level of the class? kinda of like AP vs Honors Vs Standard in HS

To DylanK - The FTCAP tests are basically 3 test that each incoming freshmen has to take. Freshmen are tested in English math and chemistry. Depending on how well you did of the test will determine whether or not you must take remedial classes or if you can advance to higher courses.

From what I understand, the levels are all the same but if you do well on the test they will let you skip the introductory course on that subject and take the course that one would take maybe in their second or third year.

thanks much!
