<p>I am headed to Ann Arbor in the fall and i have already signed up for my orientation and know that I will be taking my placement tests there. I have heard that with the language placement tests if you place out of the language class that you also receive credit for the classes as well. Can anyone confirm this?</p>
<p>you get free elective credit if you test out of the first two semesters (i.e. 8 credits) and any semesters after that count as humanities.</p>
<p>^What? That is not true (or if it is it’s news to me). I placed out of the entire requirement and didn’t get any credit. I could have gotten 8 credits if I took the 5th semester course, but I did not. I believe that is how it works.</p>
