Places to live in the spring?

I'm currently a freshman at another university in Florida but I'm going to be transferring to UCF in the spring 2012 semester. I just got my acceptance today (and I'm freaking out! hahaha) and I was wondering what y'all thought were the best off campus apartments, especially ones that would have openings in the spring? Thank you!

Most of the people here aren’t actually at UCF (yet). I would suggest you take this question to someplace like reddit.com/r/ucf or another forum where people actually attend UCF lol

My girlfriend goes to UCF now and she lives in the NIKE dorms. Her first year there. To me they are not bad at all. It gives you the chance to interact with all the students and it is located in a good spot. Hercules is another that is on campus and I have some friends that live in them. I wouldn’t mind living in those. Across the street of UCF there are apartments called Sterling and I herd those are really nice but expensive. And another apartment complex is called The Pointe and that is affiliated with UCF.

Im trying to transfer to UCF in the spring and if I get in I will be living at The Pointe.

Sterling isn’t too bad, but it is considered student housing. Most (if not all) of the units there are 4-bedroom apartments which you share with 3 randomly-chosen roommates (unless you have friends moving in with you.) It is directly across the street from UCF; it’s virtually on campus.

If you aren’t interested in student housing and want your own place, I’d have to recommend Tivoli. It’s only a little further away than Sterling, but still right next to UCF. I live on campus until Fall 2012, at which time I’m very likely moving off campus. Of all of the places I’ve checked out and researched, Tivoli has become one of my only choices.

I would look at all the apartments on Alafaya.
Cheap and close to campus. Maybe Campus Crossings? The look great inside and they’re cheap. I’m moving there for my sophomore year
