Placing out of Precalc?

If we were to get 31 or above on the math placement exam, and be qualified for Math 11A, would we thus satisfy the pre-calc requirement for (example) the Psychology major? As in, we wouldn't need to take it, and it would be considered completed for our major course work?

Or am I missing something here? Because I'm thinking of majoring in psychology, but taking pre-med classes to satisfy med school admission requirements.

If you’re interested in fulfilling the courses for medical school, you will have to take Math 11A/B and 22. Your ability to enroll in 11A means you already completed their requirement for Math 3, so you don’t need to take it for psych or any requirement.

Awesome. As always Golfer, your info is golden and greatly appreciated.
