**Plan II???**

Congratulations, Rewind! Sounds like you’ll be going to the interview for sure, then.

I received the acceptance package last night after being deferred in December…

Congratulations, bobo!

The same thing happened to me Bobo!

I’ve been accepted to Plan II after being deferred :]

Congrats everybody! Look forward to seeing you all in the fall.

I got in!!!
:D

Congrats hookem! It’s a good feeling isn’t it? haha.

Indeed.
I loved the little packet they sent!

This isn’t the last wave of decisions, is it? I live in Austin, and I haven’t gotten anything. :P

^ I sincerely doubt it. Plus, yours could still be in the mail, and it might arrive on Monday ;)

Congrats hookem! I’m happy for you! I’ve seen your posts on several of the boards of schools that my S applied to. He is still waiting to hear about Plan2 and all the rest except LAH. Thankfully that one came early so he knows he has one option that he will be happy with.

Haha, thanks, hookem. And congrats. :)

181818, I sympathize with your S.

congrats you guys!

Have any of you attended a Plan II information session?

^ I did, during the Honors Colloquium last summer, which also included meeting with some Plan II professors and stuff. It’s legit.

^^thank you.

I sat through one of the Plan II Literature classes, and it was really cool. The professor was real laid back and it seemed very intellectually stimulating.

I attended one in November and really liked it. There were only about 6 people in my information session, so it was very intimate and seemed more like an informal conversation with them rather than a lecture. They’re all very nice, helpful, and curious to learn more about every person individually. The World Lit class I sat in on was fantastic as well. The class was in a seminar format with only about 13 kids and the professor was very laid back and approachable. Also, while you’re in the World Lit class, they hold an info meeting for your parents. I definitely reccomend going, especially if you’re a prospective student or applicant. I got a feeling from them that it may help your chances slightly if you go and interact with them. Even if it doesn’t officially do you any good, at least they can put a name to a face and personality. Make sure and ask lots of questions!

*recommend

Congrats to everyone who’s got in so far, and if you haven’t heard back yet, they are still processing applications, particularly kids who applied at the deadline.

Dedman interview people: CONGRATS. You are essentially already being told you are the best of the best. I will be there on finalists weekend helping out with y’all, and one of you will likely be staying with me. Good luck, but it’s a tremendous honor to make it this far to begin with.
