Hey, the app wants me to write what courses I’m planning on taking Spring Quarter, but due to pass times, I’m not guaranteed the classes I specify, and won’t know for sure what I’m taking until February. How do I handle this? Will I be penalized if I can’t get all the classes I have planned or if I change my mind on what I’m taking?
This is all assuming I satisfy the UC reciprocity requirements which I am on track to do easily (I’m transferring from one UC to another).
Also, will I be penalized if I change these classes during the transfer update application period that ranges from the 4th-31st of this month?
Admissions are aware that planned courses may change and won’t penalize you assuming you meet (as you mentioned) the UC Reciprocity / IGETC equivalents as well as all major prerequisites deemed “required” for admission.
Be as accurate as possible though as major changes after the TAU will be heavily scrutinized during your admissions review.
