UF should definitely be on there, a lot of kids from my school go up there every weekend and come home drunk. Though FSU is the top party school in FL as everyone who is going there from our school this year are big party animals. Hey, where's our high school on this list?

hey erhswimming, I get drunk in high school doesn that mean my high school should be in the top 10? You can get drunk anywhere the party scene at these top 10 schools just happens to be the best. Playboy has student reps at every school and im sure that the schools that made the cut are exceptional party schools, better than all the rest. Especially number three arizona state university

Yeah wow, quite a story, kids come home drunk from UF. Top party school contender right there. While I'm sure it's got a great party scene with hott girls, I don't think that comment proves it. There happens to be a bit of drinking at the other schools as well.

as an unbiased person who's been to both, i can DEFINITELY say that ohio halloween trumps wisconsin. sorry, but the campus is one of the most "haunted" in the world and people go really crazy for it.

too bad halloween at my own school sucks. :(

I'm glad my current school doesn't do much on halloween...I'm too old for it (in my opinion). Haven't trick or treated since I was 13, haven't had a serious costume since I was 17.

Anyway, are any of the smaller schools on the list? I'd say Mount Union in Ohio is right up there with the IUPs of the world. You know that school's a party school when the RAs come in drunk/stoned all the time. They were also immature--using the "F" word when addressing the hallway is not a good example of leadership in my opinion. And they never rectified the party situation either.

As a Wisconsinite I can best tell you all that Madison is right on the money as a #1 party school... I have friends that go there and it is insane. I opted to go to Northwestern instead, but I will most def. comeback to Mad town for some fun. Its like whenever Wisconsin falls to #2 in the party rankings they have to organize a huge bash and call the papers to get back at #1 lol haha
..and dont be so ignorant wit the beer and cheese comments...alothoug beer does play a good role :)

if we consider small schools Depauw would definitely be at the top.... OU is currently #2 by PR and if i go there i willm definitely do what i can to get that #1 an show wisconsin the truth

DePauw, in tiny Greencastle? I visited there, it was very nice, everything was very new and up to date, best cafe of all 12 schools I've been to, but I couldn't imagine it being a huge party school. Although, I could see some partying considering there is nothing else to do in Greencastle!

get real...wisconsin easily holds the crown :)

McGill is wild. And all legal. College-towns just don't match up to Montreal.

This is quite a fall from the days when Wis was disqualified from the contest as a professional entry - something about 18 year olds being able to buy beer in the student union.

I'm going to Indiana, which is also a tremendous party school, and I have to give the nod to Wisconsin. Ohio was a lot of fun when I went, but everytime I went to Wisconsin the parties leaked out into the streets; it was almost like there was just one big one.

"DePauw, in tiny Greencastle?"

Yeah, Depauw is #1 for frat/sorority scene so dont let it fool you.. they throw down.. In fact Im going there

Go Wisconsin :)...haha lol and I choose Northwestern

No ivy league: UPENN or Cornell?

This thread is from 2006...

i can't speak for all of these places, but i definitely think mcgill deserves its spot on this list -- pretty crazy times in montreal
