Nice people please rank Plazas at UCLA, and explain, thanks.

Reiber Vista = Reiber Terrace > De Neve > Delta Terrace > Hedrick Summit

I haven’t seen Hedrick but I think that is part of the problem, it’s really far up the hill and secluded. I’ve been in Delta and it’s really quiet, older, and just felt grimey. Also, apparently this community is primarily comprised of transfers, which I think is lame. De Neve is nice, looks well maintained, is relatively close to campus, has a huge mess hall in the bottom floor, but has a weird layout. Reiber is fairly new, big floor layout, isn’t strictly reserved for transfers, and it’s where I’m staying. haha. =)

Ive never been in rieber vista, so I dont know what its like. De Neve is really nice and its like living in a hotel. The rooms arent too far apart so people like to socialize.

I would really like to visit reiber to see the difference. would anyone like to compare them?? which ones better socially?

From what I hear De Neve houses a bunch of freshman & sophomores and De Neves dorms are the smallest…

I was housed in De Neve and I think I prefer to be housed w/ the transfers… :)

I don’t think they’re THAT small, I guess I’m just glad that I got a double. I go visit some of my friends who dorm there pretty often.

Hey, as long as its closer to campus, that’s okay with me. Besides, there are other first year transfers, so I’m cool with it. :)

Rheel! tell me everything!:P) I have a triple w/ a private bath. I am going to submit a CAR for Univ apts and then a double. A triple in DeNeve would be brutal huh?

I’m pretty OCD if I do say so myself, but the double seemed fine to me. (I visit dorms pretty often, ha-ha). Yeah…triple might be…awkward…I can see how you are saying they are small. Heck, with three people in MY room it would be very small, hahaha.

Damn. I went this past week to visit my friends, I should have taken pictures, and now I won’t be able to go back since we’re leaving soon. @__@

My friend & I are watching movies & totally off topic but 27 dresses is on right now & is super cute! Just watched Old School too!!! It was awesome. Part of it was filmed at Ucla! sweet!!!

haha OLD SCHOOL! remember the part where they are hazing and they tie the rope to their dicks and the one dudes brick goes in the gutter hhaha

i saw 27 dresses too it was aight

anything else on deneve??

I haven’t had a chance to visit Rieber Terrace/Vista. What makes them better than De Neve? Aren’t shared baths less convenient?

haha great part to remember guitarfrk!!

de neve is tight. dont hate on de neve. u crazy??

I got Rieber Terrace, triple, shared bath. want to switch a single or double, prefer quiet/calm enviroment

im so excited for deneve triple! Hopefully i get people younger than me so i can be the bosss

lol

i wanna go check out rieber…they better let me in LIKE A BOSS lol

yeaa boss status

you guys are speaking pretty highly of de neve; however, i hear it’s one of the quietest plazas, and the people who live there usually keep to themselves

anyone who’s lived or visited to de neve corroborate this ?

Like I said. I go there all the time to visit my friends. It’s what you make of it, some people are quiet and keep to themselves and some aren’t. My friends are actually pretty close to everyone on their particular floor since it doesn’t room that many people. Also depends on what building you get.

^ I loooove their lobbies and the dining hall. Total hotel vibe.

man that would suck to pay so much money just to have an antisocial floor
