So im currently in highschool in my sophomore year. freshman year i had a 3.7 and now i have a 3.4 working on raising my gpa. My question if i dont do well will attending to a community college for two years then transfer to a 4 year college a good idea? I reallly want to go to UW and pursue an accounting career. Will my job career be affected because i attended to community college,. when applying for jobs is cc an disavantage? and with my gpa will i have a good chance of getting to UW or any college?!

Calm down, champ, you’re fine. Your stats are enough to get you into some great schools. Even if you don’t get into UW, CC isn’t the only thing left. You have a 3.55 now, that MORE than enough to get you into the likes of Rutgers, Drexel, many other local schools, etc… and you haven’t taken the SAT or anything yet.

There’s a huge gap between UW and CC filled with very reasonable options.

do you think i still have time to raise my 3.4 gpa dramatically? my grades are
pe a
asl a
ap euro c+
chemistry c+…I had an A before but after a test i took i now have a c planning on retaking it so it will probably be back to an a same thing with algebra 2 i had a test…
algebra 2 c+
english b

You’ll be fine, and even if you go to CC, nobody will care. Nobody cares where you spent the first two years of your college career. Hell, you don’t even have to list it on your resume if you don’t want to. Your four-year diploma doesn’t come with a giant red stamp, “COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRANSFER.” It looks the same as every other diploma the school hands out.

thank youu! Stress level just went down a ton!

Oh! One more question do colleges look at how much extra activity you have done or if you had done anything at all. I havent done anything my freshman year and I wont be able to this year. But next year I am planning to volunteer for 100 hours and join golf maybe. And in my senior just to volunteer for 100 hours too. Will that be enough for any college? preferably uw?
