<p>Yeah, it is possible to prep yourself, especially if you have the skill base and are willing to take practice tests. Personally, I would recommend the ACT because it’s much more “teachable.” All you have to do is learn to pace yourself correctly. Work on English grammar rules and learn from your mistakes to know exactly what they’re asking for in the questions. Math you can practice practice practice and review all the rules. With these two you can score in the mid-30’s reliably with some practice, then you can turn to reading and science, which are basically just hunting down answers as quickly as possible.
