Hey guys I was wondering if you could give my friend some chances on the following schools:
UCLA
UCSD
NYU
BU
JHU
(Or any other schools with good medical programs)

Sophmore year:
AP European History:C/B
Spanish 2:A/A
AP Human Geography:B/B
H Biology:B/B
English 10:B/B
Algebra 2:A/A

My friend took Chemistry and Trigonometry at a local college and he passed both with an A.

Junior Year:
H English: A/A
AP Computer Science: A/A
AP Physics B: A/A
H Math Analysis/ AP Calculus A: A/A
Spanish 3: A/A
H United States History: A/A

SAT: 2100
SAT II: Math IIC: 780, Chemistry: 800. US History : 760

EC'S: 500+ hours of volunteer work at providence holy cross medical center, and Science Bowl for 2+ years.

My friend feels very very stressed because of the stats for sophmore year, but as you can see there is massive improvment between 10th and 11th grade and maybe that can help him in admissions.

What other ways can he increase his chances as far as EC's go, he also plans to major in the medical field.

His most desired schools is UCLA and secondary UCSD but he feels that he does not have much of a chance at UCLA. What are some ways to increase his chances at UCLA?

Sophmore year UC GPA: 3.6
Junior year UC GPA: 4.33

haha yea i agree lobos-- just admit its u wizard---
the soph year gpa is not bad at all especially for an instate UC

as far as stats-- id say a good shot at any of the schools listed

in terms of ECs-- since your into med...work at hospital or intern there or at a pediatrician or something like that-- or research (i know someone research congenital deformities)

Ed: Why have we got to go to Liz's?
Shaun: Because we do.
Ed: But she dumped you!
Shaun: I have to know if she's all right!
Ed: Why?
Shaun: Because I love her!
Ed: All right... ghey...
