<p>Good/decent ec's but not great
he got a C in Algebra 2 1st semester
B in Trig/ A second semester
C in physics 1st semester junior year but A second</p>

<p>Rate his chances to UC's, USC, Purdue, U mich, NYU, Cal poly SLO</p>

<p>His applications had to be submitted already. I have watched a number of applicants over the past few years and I have to say...just can't tell what the uc's will do. They are very fickle. I have know people who were accepted at Berkeley and rejected at UCSD. It is a curious process.. no matter what they say on their site.</p>

since he has a grade downtrend and got bad grades first semester because he wants to go to engineering</p>

<p>I got into purdue just a few days ago, judging by his stats... I would say he has a good chance at Purdue if his ecs are good.</p>

he went to regionals for the science bowl</p>

<p>Yeah, then Purdue he has a really good chance, I went to Science Bowl too, and am in several clubs, 50 hours service, he should get in no problem</p>
