Interesting hobbies:

I’d like to know if my matches are actually matches… and I would also like to get some input about more matches.
I’d also like to know how likely it is for me to get into my reach schools. Is it even worth spending money to apply there?

UT Texas is a reach for all out of state students. They take 90% of their students from in state.

Yes, your reaches are worth it. That’s what reaches are for. As far as the matches and safety go, that’s something to discuss with your GC. She’ll likely know what schools are tend to take kids from your high school and can go over those choices with you.

Your reaches look pretty match-y to me. When I think of a match, I think of a school to which a student has ~50% chance of getting accepted. Apply to enough schools in that range and your chances of getting into one of them should be pretty high.
