I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you got into MIT, but rest assured that there will be a lot of applicants like you in the pool. Hopefully your recs/essays will differentiate you from others with similar stats?

AIME’s pretty cool = D
Siemen’s is awesome too.
I’d say you have a good shot. btw what did you get on the AIME?

Just gonna say this, don’t mean to be a downer, but i’d say there are low odds of you getting in.

MIT has gotten to the point where the good scores are EXPECTED, they won’t set you very far apart from the crowd. Your ECs aren’t stellar, I don’t know your hrs/wk involvement or any academic awards/honors, but from what you have listed here, the only thing you have are numbers.

You need more than numbers!!!

I would say you’ll get accepted/deferred, but probably not denied

I got a 102.5 on AMC12 (just barely qualified) and a 1 on AIME.

I listed both of these scores because I was proud that I even qualified for the AIME and it would be weird to list that I qualified without listing the scores. I figured that listing a 1 for AIME could help more than it could hurt, so why not.

I’d disagree with a lot of the above posters. I’d say your chances are pretty decent. Your numbers are solid, you’ve got research, you’ve got offices, and you’ve got at least some awards, even if they’re not big.
