<p>Please chance me for my top choice UF!! The most I can do at this point is study my but off and take the SAT once last time in december. Also considering applying to UM, BU and NYU but they don't matter as much. My UF chance is all that matters to me at this point. </p>

<p>Term applied: Summer B</p>

<p>Pretty much rough outline of my application</p>

<p>UF GPA- 3.9
SAT total-1810(Just took it again and I think super score def went up)
Math-670
Reading-580
Writing-560</p>

<p>EC Activities-
-Member of collegiate level dance teams that have competed at national level competitions
-Member of typical school clubs(NHS, MAO etc etc)
-VP of multicultural club
-300 volunteer hours from a hospital
-100 or so hours from other places
-shadowing a doctor 60 hours
-A couple other things</p>

<p>ESSAYS: My main essay was extremely passionate. All the teachers I showed it to loved it. </p>

<p>-A couple of awards like speech competitions. Mentioned dance teams placings and participation in various local and national level competitions.</p>

<p>UF is a high Match. Your GPA and test scores are a bit low (with GPA being the biggest issue). Doing better on your SAT will help your chances. Your Essay and EC’s may also help (UF’s Holistic Admissions is 50% GPA/Test/Class Rigor and 50% EC’s/Leadership/Essay).</p>

<p>Middle 50% of the 2013 Freshman Class:</p>

<p>High School GPA of 4.1 - 4.4
SAT of 1780-2020</p>

<p>Thats what I’m honestly hoping for. I might take the SAT in december just for a last try. Also from a a paper my guidance counselor gave me the average GPA for fall UF admits was 4.1-4.5 while the average for summer was 3.9-4.3 UF GPA. This is kind of why I applied Summer.</p>

<p>Class rigor wise I took about 14 AP’s and a bunch of dual enrollment. I’m a HS/AA applicant.</p>

<p>BU and NYU are probably low reaches.</p>

<p>If you’re in state or have a legacy, your chances go up. Otherwise, it’s not for sure, but it’s likely that you’ll get in. If the superscore helps you then that’s always a good thing. Your volunteer hours will look good. Just don’t expect to get tons of money, especially since UF is a state school.
BU is a reach, as well as NYU. You have a stronger chance with UF, which seems to be working in your favor. If I were you, I’d plan some back-ups/safetys…you never know.
